HODECKER REGISTERS SHUTOUT IN TIE WITH POST

BOX SCORE

WATERBURY, Conn. (September 27, 2006) - Sophomore Danielle Hodecker (West Springfield, Mass.) made 11 saves en route to her first career shutout as American International College battled Post University to a 0-0 tie in women's soccer Wednesday afternoon at LaMoy Field.  The Yellow Jackets are now 1-9-1 overall, while the Eagles stand at 5-5-2 on the season.

Hodecker, who has not allowed more than two goals in any of AIC's last four games, picked up her first career shutout as AIC was outshot 21-13 over the 110-minute contest.  Her Post counterpart, Karalee Desrosiers, stopped seven Yellow Jacket shots on target.

AIC returns to Northeast-10 play Friday night when it travels to Southern Connecticut for a 7:00 contest.
