Women's Tennis Falls to Merrimack 

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The American International College women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision to Merrimack Wednesday afternoon at the AIC Tennis Courts. The Warriors improved to 9-6 overall and 7-3 in the Northeast-10, while the Yellow Jackets dropped to 2-9 on the season and in conference play. Juniors Sarah Pfefferkorn (Ludlow, Mass.) and Sara Strzempek (Chicopee, Mass.) teamed for an 8-5 win at first doubles for AIC.

The Yellow Jackets return to action Friday when they host Saint Anselm at 3:30 p.m.
