Julie Zoolkoski is entering her fourth season as the head field hockey coach at American International College after being named the program’s first-ever full-time coach in May 2006.
In 2008, Zoolkoski lead the Yellow Jackets to a school record five wins, including the programs first-ever win over a nationally ranked opponent taking down No. 6 Saint Michael's 3-2 on September 28.
Zoolkoski spent the 2005 season as an assistant coach at Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, Pa. and prior to that was an assistant coach for two seasons at Amherst College. In the spring of 2005 she served as the head coach for the USA Field Hockey Futures Program, Great Lakes Region. Zoolkoski has also worked at numerous field hockey summer camps, including camps at Stanford and William and Mary.
A 2003 graduate of The College of William and Mary, Zoolkoski was a three-year starter in field hockey for the Tribe. She led the Tribe to a Top 20 national ranking in each of her three seasons and a pair of appearances in the NCAA Division I Tournament in 2000 and 2002. As a senior, Zoolkoski was named to the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) all-Tournament Team and received the CAA Commissioners' Academic Award in 2002.
Zoolkoski earned her B.S.B.A. in marketing from William & Mary in 2003 and earned her master's in education at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2005.
A native of Mountaintop, Pennsylvania, Zoolkoski currently resides in Holyoke.
