Men’s Track & Field Ties for 23rd at New England Championships

Durham, N.H. - The American International College men's track & field team tied with the U.S. Coast Guard Academy for 23rd over and finished fifth among Division II teams at the 2008 New England Intercollegiate Athletic Association Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by the University of New Hampshire. Freshman Terry Goldson (Ansonia, Conn.) placed second in the high jump after clearing 2.00 meters. MORE>>

DeMontier Earns NFCA All-Region Honors

Starkville, Miss. – Senior Tara DeMontier (Amesbury, Mass.) of the American International College softball team was named a first-team all-Northeast Region selection at third base by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Thursday. Men’s Ice Hockey Earns Perfect Academic Progress Rate for 2006-07

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – In a time when some NCAA Division I programs are struggling to make the grade on their annual Academic Progress Rates (APR), the American International College men’s ice hockey team has shined. The Yellow Jackets earned a perfect score of 1,000 for their 2006-07 APR and have a near perfect average of 995 over the past four years. MORE>>

Beyor Ties for 27th at NCAA Northeast Regional Championship

Middletown, Del. – Freshman Garrett Beyor (Monson, Mass.) of the American International College men’s golf team finished in a four-way tie for 27th among Northeast competitors at the NCAA Division II East/Northeast Super Regional, hosted by Wilmington College at Back Creek Golf Course at St. Anne’s Golf Club. He finished the three-day tournament with a 27-over par 240 on the par-71 course and was second among the individual competitors. MORE>>
