Complete Northeast-10 Release

Burlington, Vt. – American International College finished seventh of 16 programs in the final 2009-10 Northeast-10 Presidents’ Cup Standings, it was announced by the conference office at its annual end of the year banquet in Burlington, Vermont. This marks the best finish by the Yellow Jackets since the Presidents’ Cup was first awarded in 1986.

Chandler, Ariz. – Sophomore midfielder #Linsey Fernandes# (Ajax, Ont.) of the American International College field hockey team has been named a second-team all-American by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA). She is just the second player in the program history to earn NFCHA all-America honors.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Freshman #Lisa Duckles# (Netcong, N.J.) of the American International College field hockey team was named to the WomensFieldHockey.com All-Rookie Squad for her performance in her first collegiate season. The Yellow Jackets finished the season with an overall record of 6-12, while also going 4-6 in the Northeast-10 conference. Duckles was also named to the NE-10 All-Rookie Team last week.
