Boston, Mass. – The American International College women’s cross country team placed 41st of 49 teams at the 200p New England Cross Country Championship at Boston’s Franklin Park. Sophomore #Julie Collignon# (Orvault, France) finished 106th overall with a time of 19:31.

South Easton, Mass. – Sophomore #Julie Collignon# (Orvault, France) was named the Northeast-10 Women’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the second straight week after placing third overall with a time of 18:29.09 at Central Connecticut State’s Ted Owens Invitational, tying her own school record. The Yellow Jackets were the only non-Division I team at the meet.

HARTFORD, Conn. – Freshman #Julie Collignon# (Orvault, France) was the top finisher for the American International College women’s cross country team as she placed third at the Trinity College Invitational. Collignon finished the 4K race in a time of 16:46. The Trinity College Invitational was the season opener for the women’s cross country squad.

South Easton, Mass. - A total of 186 American International College student-athletes were named to the Spring 2009 Northeast-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll, it was announced by the conference office. AIC had the fourth-most student-athletes on the Northeast-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Colchester, Vt. - The American International College men’s cross country team placed ninth of 13 team, while the women’s squad finished 13th of 15 teams at the 2008 Northeast-10 Cross Country Championship, hosted by Saint Michael’s College. Freshman #Brian Mulwo# earned third-team all-conference honors after placing 17th overall in the men’s race with a time of 26:12.5.

Springfield, Mass. – The American International College cross country teams competed at WNEC Invitational Saturday. The men’s team placed first of 16 while the women’s team placed seventh out of 20. Freshman #Brian Mulwo# (Kenya) had the best time for the AIC men’s team at 26:31 which placed him second. Freshman #Jennifer D'Angelo# (Watertown, Conn.) led the way for the women’s team placing sixth with a time of 20:38.
